Everything around us is in color, but i didn't realize that all the colors i can see are a product of blue, green, and red (light) or cyan, magenta, and yellow (ink). Black is the absence of color (the colors are absorbed) and white is all of the colors combined (no color light is absorbed). This is why wearing black to practice on a sunny day is not a good idea. Primary colors can be combined to form different colors. For light: Red + Green = Yellow, Green + Blue = Cyan, and Red + Blue = Magenta. For ink: Magenta + Yellow = Red (only a little yellow) or Orange (more yellow), Cyan + Magenta = Blue (only a little magenta) or purple (more magenta), and Cyan + Yellow = Green.
